"Do it yourself is always welcome" is the motto of Anchor Marina, where sailors are encouraged to pull in for repairs and supplies. A 35-ton travel lift is available, and mechanics are on call 24 hours a day to fix anything from a blister to a broken propeller shaft. Anchor's staff also offer bottom painting, fiberglass work and power washing. This 85-slip marina provides wet and dry storage, showers, bathrooms, a ship's store, restaurant and lounge. General hours for the marina and store are 8 AM to 5 PM seven days a week; the restaurant and lounge are open from 11 AM until the wee hours of the morning. Photos and Map
B.W.'s Marina

B.W.'s, managed by Michelle Coffey, officially opened for business in April 1996, taking over for the Pier at Little River. Transient boats are allowed to tie up at the face deck, and 10 slips are available for monthly rental. Water, 110- and 220-amp. electrical hookups also are available as well as gasoline and diesel fuels. This marina is open from 7:30 AM to 6 PM with extended hours during the summer.

Coquina Harbour Marina

Russell Edwards manages this 113-slip marina that offers a bath house and self-service laundry facilities. Monthly and yearly slip leases can be negotiated. The marina is open year round.
Crickett Cove Marina

Crickett Cove opened in July 1997 and is the last such venture that will be permitted on saltwater marsh since those wetlands are a protected natural habitat. Concrete floating docks offer transient boat storage, and 73 wet slips are available for boats from 40 to 55 feet in length. Dry storage, two fueling depots, inside and outside. Crickett Cove serves guests with showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The Upper Deck Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The Upper Deck opens daily at 11:30 AM. Established in 1988, this Premier Marina has recently completed a half million dollar dock replacement project. Wet dockage is available at one of 102 slips here, as are laundry facilities, showers, a ship's store and cable TV, water and phone hookups. The Marina Raw Bar and Grill is located here, along with several other nearby restaurants and lounges. Thirty- and 50-amp. shore power also is accessible as well as a pump-out station for nautical guests. Hours of operation range from 8 AM to 6 or 8 PM, depending on the season.
Myrtle Beach Yacht Club at Coquina Harbour

Many of this club's 153 slips are designated for transient use, and boaters can enjoy convenient access to both 30- and 50-amp. power. Showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, a swimming pool, tennis court and water and cable TV hookups are available. The club offers diesel and gasoline fuels as well as a pump-out station. You'll find an on-site ship's store offering beer, wine and ice, and a number of first-class restaurants are within walking distance. North Myrtle Beach Marina specializes in service and repairs. The ship's store at this marina stocks an extensive array of boat supplies and fishing tackle. Gasoline is the only available fuel. Hours of operation are 8 AM to 6 PM daily.

George Russ manages this site. Hague offers yacht service and supplies and storage -- wet or dry, covered or uncovered. Transient dockage is available for 90¢ per foot per night. Water and electric hookups plus a ship's store are available. Hague is open 8 AM to 6:30 PM daily spring through fall, until 5 PM during the winter months.

The Marina at Grande Dunes is now open and available to the public. Floating docks house a total of 126 slips and offer 400 feet of T-dock space and 1,200 feet of lay-a-long dockage, accommodating vessels up to 120 feet in length. Besides running an array of charters from this marina, the owner offers boat dockage for long-term lease. Bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, 30- and 50-amp. power hookups and a ship's store are available as are gasoline and diesel fuel pumps. The marina does not allow "live aboards" (where people live on the boat year round) or Jet Skis. This is Horry County, SC's newest public boat landing which opened in April, 2003. The landing, located under the new SC 544 bridge, features a dual concrete boat ramp with dozens of parking places.

Wacca-Wache maintains 109 floating slips, 15 of which are available for transient vessels. This marina also offers 120 dry-storage slips and a choice of 30-, 50- or 100-amp. electrical hookups. Additional services include cable TV and telephone hookups, a pump-out station, gasoline and diesel fuel, a ship's store, laundry facilities and showers. This 120-slip deepwater marina has both floating and fixed docks. Gas and diesel fuels are available. The property is home to the Lands End Restaurant, popular for years with locals who come to sample the daily seafood specials. Georgetown Landing is open 8 AM to 7 PM throughout summer.
