Brian and I visited the new restaurant that opened at Barefoot Landing last month, LeGrand (in the former Yamato location).
www.LeGrandsPrime.com

They advertised some great happy hour specials so we decided to stop in for a visit this week. We sat at the Martini Bar which was impressive, complete w/ a granite bar top and lots of candelight and intimate table seating. We didn't see the rest of the restaurant but if the bar area and elegant bathrooms are any indication of what's beyond, I could only imagine it must be first class and well done.

They offer "Prime" Happy Hour" 4-7P daily in their "Martini Fueled Lounge" w/ $2 drafts, $5 select Martinis and $5 glasses of wine. They also offered a fabulous savings on appetizer specials...ALL UNDER $5!!! (We were gluttons... but eveything sounded too good to pass up!)

Happy Hour Memu:
Prime Beef Sliders: $3.50 - topped w/ swiss cheese, carmelized onion ketchup
Blackened Halibut Fish Tacos: $3.50 - crispy corn tortillas, blackened halibut, firecracker slaw and cilantro mint creme'
Peel and Eat Shrimp: $3.50 - roasted beet cocktail sauce
Beer Battered Fish Nuggets: $4.50 - made w/ fresh halibut cut daily.
Smoked Salmon: $3.50 - Smoked salmon, cream cheese, aged cheedar on crispy wonton skins
Ponzu Oyster Shooters - $2 each or $3 for $5
Homemade Kettle Chips: $2.50 - seasoned w/ sea salt and malt vinegar w/ a warm blue cheese dip.

OK...again too good to be pass up - we opted to make dinner out of happy hour so we could try a little of everything. Beware...appetizer portions are not tiny! We had more than plenty and then some!

Brian and I shared the Sliders, Blackened Halibut Fish Tacos, Beer Battered Fish Nuggets, Smoked Salmon and a order of Homemade Kettle Chips. They were all awesome choices, but were especially fond of the fish tacos which were a nice combo of crunchy and spicy sweet.

5 appetizers and 2 rounds of draft beer = just under $30 + tip. No room for any dinner - it was a fabulous feast and we'll plan for a return visit. Hopefully we'll save room for dinner next time...then again, hopefully we'll save $$$$ to have dinner next time!!!
