As you can see from our recent trip report, Ric and I go to quite a few happy hours. Ric doesn't drink at all, and I don't drink much more than he does. But we find happy hours a great way to experience restaurants, and try food at lower prices.

Burro Loco is by far our favorite for price and quality. Free wings everyday starting at 4. Most of their appetizers are reduced in price, and they have pizzas (12-inch, I think) for $3. They do have drink specials, I'm just not sure what they are. Think the margaritas are $3.

We were here several times in 16 days and look forward to going back!

We went there several weeks ago. They have a 'low-carb' margarita!
We ordered a pizza, received the complimentary salsa and chips, and then discovered the free wings. We were there fairly early, and it filled up quickly. Happy hours are a great way to get the 'feel' of a place, and we'll be going back.

The Low Carb Margarita is Rose's Lime Juice and Tequila.

Does anybody know if they still have the pizzas for $3?

Does it overlook the waterway? Is the happy hour just in the bar area or can you take advantage with kids in the dinning room?

thanks

Just got back from Burro Loco for happy hour - we are stuffed! And very kid-friendly, even brought us a high chair in the bar area!
