This was our first visit to this seafood buffet. It was excellent. There was so much to choose from and the prices were in line with other seafood buffets. The crab legs were the absolute best! We also had shrimp, crab cakes, ribs, mashed potatoes, salad, bread, and sampled a few of the desserts. They have so much it is really hard to choose! The place is clean & crowded although we walked right in and was seated right away even though it was during the dinner time rush hour (around 6pm or so). Noise level wasn't bad either for a place that big & that crowded. We will definitely return there on our next visit to MB.

We ate at this place last week. Very good. We all enjoyed it. I thought we would have a wait to get in but we got right in. They take your picture before you go in and you can buy it if you want in the gift shop after dinner. I bought an enlargement so I would be sure to have a family picture to take home. There was someone dressed as a pirate outside the door and they gave each of the girl's a necklace as we went in.

We've been to most of them and from now on its just one place - the Original Benjamins.

Food, price and service are most important - but you also can NOT beat the atmosphere - so good.

Went to the Orgiginal Benjamins yesterday for Easter diner.

Found a coupon for $4 off each Adult dinner - it you go between 3:30 and 4:30. Now, that is when they open up - so depending on when you get there before 3:30 - you will be put in a line. The line will go really fast once they start seating - but for some reason, they didn't start seating until like 3:45????? BTW - I believe they begin at 2:30 from May-Sept.

The meal was great I thought. Amy and I each got a Margarita. They boys continued to be good and adventurous eaters - trying new things and enjoying their favorites too.

Amy went to town on the crab legs - only complaint was that the butter was kind of cool.

Felt uncomfortable when we left - but that's out fault - and a good sign that the place did its job!

Highly recommend it. It is expensive, but, like our experience at Yamato the day before - we dont mind paying a bit more than usual for a place that is not our usual experience at home!

My favorite is Captain Georges. I think their seafood is just a little better, but we also have to do the Original Benjamins because it's my husband's fav. He's not overly fond of seafood, so he just loves all the steaks they have to offer.

This makes me happy because I get "two" seafoods!

Went there last Thursday after having been there last spring. Food was good and lots of it. Just doesn't seem as great the second time around and the crab legs were pretty small. Service was good though. Might try a different buffet next time.

I went to restaurant.com and got a $25 gift certificat to The Original Benjamins for $6. The discount code I had is no longer valid but you can still get a $25 one for $10 and that a heck of a deal.

Can someone tell me how much the all you can eat buffet is??

I'm gonna get a gift certificate but just wondering how much it will run us for a family of 4. I have two children. One is 2 years old and one is 7 years old. Do they have special pricing for children?

You may use one coupon per table/party/tab. If you are going at a different time than those you are traveling with, they will need a coupon and you will need one. I think the buffet runs around $24.00. Last year I got a $25.00 coupon for $7.50 from restaurant.com. So basically, one of us ate for free. Check out this thread:

Capt. George's used to be my favorite all you can eat seafood place until I went here in July.
Anyway, you can download a coupon from their website or get one in just about any of the coupon/discount magazines all over in Myrtle Beach.

The buffet when we were there was $26.95 and I will third that the food was very good and it would be impossible to even try to name the 170 or so items. We too used a restaurant.com gift certificate that was a 60% off discount at the time meaning we paid $4 for a $25 certificate so I would definitely check restaurant.com out if going again.
