Hi, longtime visitor to the site, but first time with a question or comment. (Love this site!)

I have a 3 year old son. I occasionally see people surf fishing, particularly in the Surfside Beach area where we'll be staying for this year's annual trip (in June). Anyway, in my opinion, just because something is "allowed" doesn't necesarily mean that it should be "performed". So, with that said, is it considered rude to surf fish? I'd like to do this with my son, but I don't want to do it if others on the beach might consider it rude (or even dangerous I suppose).

I try to be courteous, and I'd hate to upset others. Any thoughts?
