Myrtle Beach Message Board

Halloween.....Wally and I were eating ice cream at Cold Stone in The Market Common when I noticed someone who looked a lot like Judy. I said "Judy?" But she didn't turn, so I thought I must be mistaken. But then she glanced our way and recognized us!

She and Chris were doing the same thing we were ....watching the families with their trick or treating well-costumed children. Most of the stores were offering sales as well as treats for the kids. Even a fire truck showed up, and we all know how kids love fire trucks.

So we had a chance to chat and catch up. Glad we were able to visit with them before they left the next day to go back to Pigeon Forge.

Emmy, how are you managing after this horrible storm? I am sure I am not alone in saying you are in my thoughts. What devastation. Watching the footage on tv the last few days has been heartbreaking.

Judy I hope you enjoyed your time in Surfside. I thought of you several times this past month...at least we have had a little sunshine here in Ohio, Friday & today, but it has been way to cold for my liking.
