I wanted to see if anyone had stayed at the Ocean Plaza Resort? They tell me it's in a residential area, quiet and the beach is just across a two lane road. I see the pictures online and it looks like the beach is close. I just don't want to get down there.... Staying Jul 5-10, and it be horrible! Not familiar with the area. I got a good price and it includes lots of free tickets for waterparks and adventure camp for the kids. Saving money is important to me!! We don't have to stay in a fancy place, just nice and clean!

Thanks and hope to hear back from some of you guys!

Well I would not call this a residential area, it is just 7 blocks south of Family Kingdom Amusement Park. I have never been inside this property so can't help you there. Just don;t worry, your going on vacation.

Don't know this place, but a search on Trip Advisor showed this place. Is this it?

I think Gary might be confusing hotels. I believe https://www.sandsresorts.com/resorts/oceanforestplaza/ is the one your talking about. Its a Sands property while the other link to TripAdvisor was not.

Yes you are correct... I found some reviews on it! Good and bad, like most properties! I was curious if anyone on here had any other things to sat about it... Location, etc.

Thanks!!

Well if there was any confusing of the properties it was not by me :)

I responded about the Ocean Plaza which is what the OP asked about.

And I did not notice the "a Sands Resort" or I would have realized you had the name wrong, even when
missingthebch said a Sands Resort, I was what Sands Resort?

Mistakes, errors in judgement and things being taken out of context happen.

Are you sure that you aren't talking about the Ocean Forest Villas Resort? If so, that is definitely in a residential area and is across the road from the beach. Beautiful area around the 5700 block of Ocean Drive. http://www.oceanforest.com/

I have stayed in the Ocean Forest Plaza which is in a residential area around the 5300-5600 block I think. Nice quiet area ocean front you do cross the road but hardly any traffic you wont get run over .

Last time was maybe 10 yrs ago. Rooms were nice, but the parking garage is very tight if you have a bigger vehicle may have to park on the street.

It is a Sands Resort.
