Hi, we are going to try to come down three days earlier, and need affordable accomodations. Has anyone stayed at the Palace Resort? it's a bit farther down then we stay, but it's not a bad price.

Check out all reviews you can find. This is an older resort that has not been updated in some time. If you don't need the "latest and greatest" it may work out for you.

Thanks Patrish we are staying at the Baywatch, but each year we like to try and stay 2-3 extra days. We stayed at Ocean Creek last year. What I need is clean, and safe not a dive. I think I will continue to look toward a different place. Thanks for the reply. I'm mostly a "lurker" on this board, but I love it I find out so much information.

I do not recommend the Palace. We booked a room there the 2nd trip we took to MB and it ruined our vacation for hte most part. The "angle ocean front" room was was in the back of the hotel with a sliver view. it was extremely outdated etc and everyone there was sooooo unhelpful, which was the worst part. Took us ALL WEEK to get our refund (minus one night stay) and we stayed somewhere else. I have seen somce nice condos there where someone owns the room online, but we saw three different rooms that were not to our standards... which ours are mediocre... clean and what we booked.

The Palace was the worse place I ever stayed out of 30 plus years of hotels

I have to concur...our worst "residence" while on vaca in MB was the Palace. The customer service, horrible. Housekeeping, terrible. Maintenance, never showed. The suite smelled, the garbage disposal was plugged up with old cigarette butts. No blankets. Truly would never stay there again. I had a better stay at BlueWater which is old, but it was clean and well attended to.
