The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, opens the new season this coming Friday night, April 6th.

The stadium has a new corporate sponsor - and thus, a new name: "TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark".

Some things new - much still the same - the Myrtle Beach Pelicans continue to provide great entertainment at value prices for visitors and locals alike; I hope to see everyone at the field some time this season...

We absolutely love going to a Pelican's game. The new name is kinda lame, but the stadium itself is NOT. It's a great place to see a game, and the staff there are very creative with their entertainment. We always loved to see Dinger bring the basket of balls out to the umpire, and got to see him train Deuce for 2 years. We'll be back in August to see the Pelicans play the Potomac Nationals. If you've never been to a Pelican's game, give them a try. A great atmosphere, affordable entertainment, good food, and a great experience.
