Hello everyone! I am coming to vacation in MB after 15 long years away and now have a daughter to bring (11 yo) I would LOVE to take her crab fishing but don't know where to go or how to go about it. I read quite a bit about twine, chicken necks a net and a bucket but where can we go to do this?

Any imput would be greatly appreciated we are SOOOOO excited for this trip!!!

I think you can crab off any of the piers. Many, like Apache, will rent the nets, but you can probably find nets in the dollar stores. There is usually a charge to walk the pier, although it is free to walk the large Garden City Pier. I know there is an extra charge to fish, and that varies pier to pier, but I don't know if there is an additional fee if you just want to crab.
