Is there a River City Cafe at Barefoot Landing? We love the one at the 21st Ave north location but want to change things a little this year. We usually go to Barefoot during the day but last year we went at night and it was so much nicer! More of a crowd and we didn't get worn out being there in the heat of the day. Anyway, I thought I remembered there being one there and was wondering if it is as good as the other location. Thanks! :)

Yes, there is! And it's got an awesome deck out back with a waterview! Thats the first RCC I ate at and loved it. There is also one next door to the Long Bay Resort - we love that one, too!

I will second that opinion. We stopped in for a burger a couple of times this winter and it was great. Fast friendly service too!

River City use to have a coupon that saved you $1 or so in the Monster Coupon Book, it's not offered any longer, the coupon now is buy a t-shirt get 1 free.

The burgers are good, not great to die for but good and consistant. I would have mine with bacon, jalapinos and chedder but now that I can't save even a dollar I don;'t go there, hey I'm the coupon king, Bi-Lo yesterday, bill was $159.76 my savings were $65.93 leaving total of $93.83.

If you want a good burger check out this review by Becky Billingsley, I met her back around 98 when she was working at the Sun News and interviewed me the 1st time.

Yes there is a $1 off in the Sunny Day Guide if you upgrade to add fries and slaw for $1.99.

I still do better at Greg's as I get the 2nd at half price and their burgers come with fries at the same price as just a burger RC Cafe, and I know it's not a big deal but the burgers are an ounce larger at Greg's, so all in all a better burger and better bun for a better price, even without the half off :)

Oh so the Monster Coupon was different? Just a $1 off a burger? Wow never saw that one. I only remember the T-shirt and Fries with slaw coupon.

Greg's sounds nice and if you are down that way, people should check it out. But if your at Barefoot Landing, its a ways to travel for food.

Greg's looks delicious, but with a 2 and 4 year old who like to go to bed early we like to stay close for dinner. We love River City and so do the boys (which makes dinner much more pleasant! )

You have little ones and we always get a kick out of how much kids enjoy the play area at River City. It isn't much but they have a great time!
