We stayed at Caravelle hotel suite rented from Vrbo.com was perfect and very clean. July 4th week is so much fun because all the fireworks and the hot days at the beach.
We rented umbrella and chairs and it made the beach more enjoyable with a little cover from the sun. Lots of beach in morning and afternoon.

We had breakfast at the Sea Captain House twice. The buffet is around $7 and a great value. Breakfast eaters this place is a must do for you.

Had lunch at the Wild Wing Cafe twice, very good place for a day with the kids. They have a huge menu and a wing buffet.
Went to Nacho Hippo for lunch at the Market Commons.Good food but, hard to decide what to get.

Dinner at Cagney's, Sara J's and Liberty Steakhouse.
Cagney's for Prime Rib blackened and Filet Oscar. We have had some great meals there and this year was one of the best.
Sara J's we had a seafood platter pick 3 and a Ribeye and fried shrimp. For those non-seafood eaters this ribeye is a can't miss.
Liberty steaks are good and a great vacation atmosphere. Lots of families and good stop for lunch also.

On the 4th it was of course hot, and we went to the Murrell's inlet for the boat parade on the marshwalk. It was good day and the boats are great.

Enjoyed reading your trip report. This time of the year we are starved for trip reports. It sounds as if you had a great time. Hearing about it makes me miss the beach even more.

Thanks so much for the report! As Judy said...we are suffering from the winter doldrums and lack of trip reports. we always enjoy Liberty Steakhouse, as well. We have never been to the others you mentioned but wings are a family favorite so Wild Wings Cafe may have to be added to the list. We have never been to MB over the 4th...I bet the fireworks are spectatcular...Thanks again!

Wild Wing has become an every year lunch spot. I wrote this because I know how many us get the Winter blues.

Sara J's? Been on my list for years. Never made it there.

If you have time, would you mind posting a quick review in the "dining" section?
