Hi out there. Is anyone interested in meeting for lunch on one of these days?? We thought it might be nice to go to the Market Common for a change. I have read posts on here about Nacho Hippo but if anyone knows a place for soup and a sandwich please chime in.

We had such a good time at lunch today! It was fun seeing Christine and Dave again, as well as Rich. I know I'm always saying this, but it's so true...meetups are very special. I love seeing and spending time with people we interact with all year on the board. So thanks to all of you for taking the time to attend.

As some of you know, since becoming full-time residents in Myrtle Beach, Pat has taken a teaching job, leaving Rich to take care of the household. And to become the prime caregiver for their dog, Murphy.

Christine and Dave have a very busy schedule set up for their remaining time in Myrtle Beach this year, and I'm sure she'll tell you all about it when she posts. They are a lovely couple, and we always appreciate it when they take time to meet up with us.

So here we are at Nacho Hippo with Wally playing photographer. Good food, good friends and perfect weather! What more could you ask?

We did have a great time! Always great that Patrish and Wally take time to do this. It was also nice to meet Rich. I read the saga of the journey down from New England and it was great to meet him. It was too bad that his wife, Pat, couldn't make it but it was good news that she found a teaching job down here. As you can see we didn't go hungry. Nacho Hippo turned out to be a perfect spot for a meet up and the weather couldn't have been better. I will post a trip report shortly when I get time to catch my breath. The weather has been so awesome we have spent a lot of time outdoors. Thanks for a great visit Wally, Rich and Patrish.

Curious, what did you all have to eat and drink?

Wally and I ordered that huge Nacho dish you see in the picture. They have a "Make it yourself" that comes with cheeses, queso sauce, lettuce and pico de gallo.

For additional items, you can choose from a various assortment of items. We ordered these extras:
shredded chicken
fire roasted veggies
mango salsa

The total price came to $10. before taxes. Yes, we will order it again. It's really GOOD! And no, we couldn't eat it all, but we gave it a heck of a try! LOL!

Thanks Patrish! I have started to take notes on what looks good and where we should eat when we come.

The nachos look super huge. I got them at Denny's once and you should have seen the look on my face when the arrived. :hysterical: I was happy to see they had a half a order the last time I went. It still was huge!

I just love nachos! :beerchug:
