Yep, we usually go every year, even though my dad always overstuffs himself and swears never again! :D It's the only buffet place I like. :)

We go every year. This is the only buffet that we eat in MB. The food is great and always fresh and hot. You can go for about $16 w/ coupon. This does not include the crab legs. I'm not sure what the extra cost would be with those.

We went there last year for Father's Day. The food was bland, cold and the place was filthy, not just from being crowded, it was disgusting. I will definitely not go back. I felt bad for taking my father there

We have eaten here for over 20 yrs. and have always loved the food. My husband still says they have the best oysters that he has ever eaten. I have the "Country Cooking" as I detest Seafood :dontknow:, I have tried every type available trying to find something I liked, to no avail. The rest of family love all seafood, go figure. We have always found SS food to be fresh and hot, and the employees very nice and friendly - some of which we've seen there for many years. I wanted to go there our first night as I was afraid they would close for the season right after Labor Day and I just had to eat there. We asked and the waitress said they plan to stay open for 2 more wks. which will be their latest closing date ever, so glad we got there before then. ~~~~~~~~ Our family came down in June/July this summer and SS were offering a Buy an Adult Buffet @ $21.95 -Get 2nd Adult buffet 1/2 off. (not including crab legs). I think children over 3 was also around $10.99 under 3 y.o. eat free. They still have this same pricing in Sept.

We ate Southern Suppers again on our June trip. Food was good as usual, but the price is getting too close to Crabby Mike's and the other bigger buffets for me to keep going. We usually don't take the crab legs option, and the price is starting to creep up to around $20 each even without them. Don't know how much more the crab legs are, but I'm assuming the price would be pretty close to some of the 120+ item buffets. I like the food, but if I'm going to spend that type of money, I'm going to go all out and get a bigger variety. Personally, I would rather go to Prosser's and pay $12 to eat a good buffet.

We went to Prossers again this past Friday late afternoon. Haven't yet had any regrets about not stopping at Southern Suppers instead along the way, as we did go there once in the very early evening during the middle of the summer - and they turned us away while informing us they were getting ready to close...
