Unfortunately, I am a tomatoaholic and drink the juice almost every day!!
I forgot to mention that Cheri got a parking ticket today while we were at the boardwalk. Kind of upsetting since we were having a good time contributing to the local economy and lost track of time. Meters are assine in my opinion, it's too easy to spend money here as it is without the city milking every last cent out of us.
Anyway, we had such a good time today that we didn't realize that we missed lunch  . So Cheri and Tim headed back to the boardwalk for dinner and drinks. I think that they are currently at Croc Rocks. Phyllis and I headed to Hark Rock with the kids. They don't have the jalapeno bloody mary anymore  . meal was good as usual but it was $140 with tip for two adults and four children, and all I got was a
Greek salad. Kids wanted to play the water shooting arcade game next to Kiss coffe house so $24 later we had two $2 stuffed angry birds :dontknow: . Did some shopping on our way to the Dragon's Lair. Some bonehead pulled several of the grids from the holes so people would loose their golf balls. I found one and replaced it after Eddie lost his ball. Lady at the counter said that people steal them all of the time!! Movie the kids chose for tonight was Spy Kids 3D, which was a really cute movie. It was also in smellavision, but somehow we didn't get the scratch n sniffs. Fine with me, but the kids were disappointed. Had to make a run to Bilos for milk and more snacks for the kids. Time for grandpa to crash :tongue3: , I think they're trying to kill me!!!!

Ron,

I am really enjoying your report. Your grandchildren will never forget these times and that is priceless.

We just got back to the condo after eating breakfast at the Sea Captain's house and playing a round of mini golf @ Spyglass. Lady at the gollf course was really nice and was going to let us play a second round for free since the course was empty. But we had a big decision to make so we came back here to discuss it. Unfortunately, we are planning on heading back to NY tomorrow morning. not worried about Irene, but I do not want to drive 1,000 miles in windy/rainy weather. Leaving tomorrow would put us ahead of the crappy driving conditions. We arrived here a day early, and lord knows we've been busy and have spent way more than we planned. We were going to be on a strict budget originally, but I finally broke down and took money from my 401K. Glad I did so we could give the family a good time. Off to Magiquest shortly and we plan on taking in a Pelicans game tonight.

As I posted before, we're not worried about the storm hitting here, it's about the traveling back home. Return trip home sucks bad enough, without making it worse :???: .
Any way, we made it to Magiquest and as usual had a great time running around with the kids. The reality of this place is it's really hard for adults too. For one Quest, we had to use morse code, braille, and sign language :BandHead: ----I kid you not :dontknow:
Took a while to finish so it was time to feed the herd. Off to River City Cafe for great food on the cheap. Returned to the condo for a shower and change of clothes, the humidity today is crazy!!! I thought I was melting :ohnoes: . Called Patrish and told her we were coming to visit, didn't know that she caught the plague from drinking cheap Vodka in Russia. First thing she does is put me to work on the board, didn't even get a hug or anything  . Great time visiting with her and Wally, they really are a special couple!!
Getting late so we needed to find a place for dinner. Decided to use our Restaurant.com certificate for Gauchos. What a great little place, everyone was making sure we were okay and waiting on us. After my bloody mary, the bartender encouraged me to try the traditional Brazilian drink Caipirinha! Good recommendation, I loved it. Can't pronounce it, but I can drink it :drinkin: . Price was $118 before discount, and that's with one dessert, glass of wine and my two drinks.

That's why you make the big bucks while I go off to Russia and wink the wadka. :whip2:
Seriously, I have a doctor's appointment at 8:30 this morning, so Ron's right about the no-hug zone around me. Just as Ron, Phyllis and Eddie arrived, I was trying to figure out where the banned IP list was located in the database. But at least I offered them a glass of wine first. (Never mind that THEY brought the wine, so this isn't as magnanimous as it sounds! ) :clown:

I enjoyed following along throughout your vacation. Nothing better than family and the beach. You pack a lot into a holiday and it sounded like you and the grandkids enjoyed your time together. Memories last forever.

We finally made it home today @ 3pm. Took out time leaving Friday morning, ate breakfast at the Cracker Barrel across from Barefoot. Decided to do a little more shopping at Barefoot before heading home. We noticed that there were a lot of vacationers leaving early, but the traffic wasn't too bad. We only hit heavy rain twice, once when we parked at Cracker Barrel  , and the other was at the Carolina Outlets in NC. Yea, we stopped for a bit to stretch and shop. We drove until we were exhausted, and then tried to find a hotel :BandHead: . We had to drive all of the way to Grantsville, Pa for a room. Little disappointed that we didn't get to do a few other things that we wanted, but we had a great time anyway.

Hope you had a happy anniversary, celebrating with a moonpie and a can of RC Cola in a local gas station parking lot. I've missed you. Vacation's over. Get back to work! :rastanana:
