I'm back. They IChris, Amy + Cgris jr. had a good trip too, except for when they were close to us, on 501. some guy with MICHIGAN tags pulled out without looking. They wound up on the grass median, no harm. An aside to this, the car they are driving is a rental. both Chris and Amy are on the Prince Edward vol. Rescue Squad. They were at the office where we work, and they heard a call come thru on the scanner: Worker for Longwood well drilling is having a heart attack. THAT was a call for me, but NOT a heart attack. It was heat exhaustion. anyway, Chris and amy get there same time as res. sq., and Chris drovew the company truck back, following the ambulance, with me inside. Amy, in her car, stops for a red light, and an 80 year old guy slams into the back of her, totalling her car. she's got a scare to her, and she was a bit sore, but no serious dMAGE. i WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FROM ABOUT 3 :30 TO 7 P.M. bACK TO WORK THE NEXT DAY!! (i'M EITHER STUPID OR DEDICATED, CAN'T QUITE FIGURE OUT WHich!!! mORE THE STUPID I THINK!!)
iT'S NOW 6:20 P.M., WE'RE ALL UNPACKED, AND AFTER A SHORT REST ( i HAVE YET TO SEE THE sUNDAy paper, not even the headlines), we're going to get a bite to eat. either Hungry howie'sd (Chris sr. loves that stuff) or golden corral, all you can eat steak buffet!!! I think i'm outnumberd, so the G.c. will probably have to be monday.
Looking forward to the meet-up tomorrow. Kirk's @ 6 (OR 7, i'll check in meet-up page, and get time right.)
The drive was just about 99.999999999 stress free. thought I missed one turn, but found out about a mile down the road I was still in the right direction.
this is my first workings with a laptop, and it's taking some getting used to, so please excuse my spelling errors. I did attach an optical mouse, my fingers seem to be too big for the dragging stuff. Other than that it's a great little maching.
more tomorrow, and i'll also add my 2 cents on the meet-up.
