Charlotte and I had the privilege of going to our third Murrells Inlet Boat Parade in the last 7 years yesterday. Each year the parade gets better, bigger, and more crowded. I don't know whether yesterday set a new record for attendance but I can tell you there were very few places to put more people.

As usual, it was fun, festive, and provided just a terrific family atmosphere. Even Santa Claus showed up for the fun:

Not all have captions but I think you'll get the flavor of the event. If you're in Myrtle Beach for the 4th of July in future years, it is definitely an activity you and your family would thoroughly enjoy!

Thanks for posting your shots, Leo. I love the annual boat parade and hated to miss it, but this year we opted to split the day between MB State Park and Surfside Beach instead. So I'm especially happy to see these photos! Wonderful work!
