If you are staying on the south end of the beach, put this one on your restaurant list.

We sat outside on the porch that overlooked a small lake. Great service and good food, reasonably priced. You can even order your burger RARE! Tuesday night's are the $10 specials which can't be beat. (The Fish Tacos were excellent!)

Patrish it should also mentioned, they brew their own beers here and are the least expensive at happy hour than the few other brew houses in Myrtle Beach and that is because they are not in the hub of the tourist area.

I love this place; but it's not close, so I don't go nearly as often as I would like. I have a friend who can bike there, and she raves about it. It's rare that reasonable restaurants make so much of their food in-house.

So after hearing about it on this board, we decided to try out Quigley's Pint and Plate. Interesting place. At first it was kind of hard to find -- the gps on my phone said we passed it before we did and while turning around we ended up in their parking lot. We didn't go to the bar side the but restaurant side was very pretty. I picked it because I heard that they make their own beer here. My husband is a home brewer and loves to try new beers. The four of us had surf and turf, Gouda burger and pasta salad, shrimp and grits, seafood pasta, 3 beers ("beer of the day", but I don't remember the names of them) and a snicker-tini. My daughter said the shrimp and grits was her favorite meal the entire vacation. For dessert my daughter’s boyfriend had the Grit Pie with vanilla ice cream on the side. The total was $95 before tip.
