I remember an acquantance once mentioning that there was a place in Myrtle Beach that has inexpensive golf lessons because the teachers are learning how to teach- anyone know anything about something like this? thanks

I've never heard of the cheap lessons, but it makes sense. The South Carolina "Golf Academy of America" trains golf pros. The list a phone number as: 800-342-7342. Perhaps you could give them a call ask about the lessons.

A couple of years ago I took the kids to a 2 day golf academy at The Legends course. It was not very expensive, but was more of a group lesson.
