my baby,Abbey, and I have both been not feeling well but I think we are better so I took her to her first visit to barc park. Kept her on the side w/small ones. Hope she can run with the big dogs one day. Here are the pics:

Oh my Lord!!! What a cute puppy! I hope she had a blast at the barc park. Did you like the park? I think I remember there were some mixed reviews about the place.

thanks Katie! I think she's adorable too. She had a great time; but Abbey has a pretty optimistic attitude so it's hard to tell. As long as she can go wherever I go-she's happy.
Barc park is a cool idea and I'm not sure what if anything could be done to improve it. You can't make owners be responsible and clean up after their dogs-sad eh? I mean the poop bags are even provided.
I did spend quite awhile after we left pulling oak blooms (or something) off Abbey; so maybe I and others could/should take rakes next time(evey time) I go and rake the small dog area.
Otherwise I think it is awesome.
I still would be anxious to let her in the loose dog area but it looks nice.

When I take my clients dogs out there (the small ones) get trampled over by the big dogs. They have a great time, but they come home so dirty because of all of the dirt. But at the end of the day they had a great time and are worn out!

We are moving to the area soon and this bark park sounds like a pretty cool place for our boxer. But where might we find it?

The Bark Park is located on Mallard Lake Drive on the site of the former Air Force Base. Turn off Business 17 into Seagate Village. The Barc Park will be on your right in less than a mile.
