The Traditional (2 eggs, bacon, country home fries, toast) - Your standard breakfast, but still great.

Image
Cheezo Rizo (Portugal chorizo, tomatoes, spinach, cheddar cheese, cilantro) - LOVED this. The menu said it was spicy but I didn't think it was (and I have a low spice tolerance). I would definitely order this again. The home fries are superb.

Image
Ham and Cheese omelette, country home fries, biscuit - Dad loved all of it.

We dined in on a Thursday morning around 7:45am. There were only 5 other tables occupied when we came in. Our server told us we could sit anywhere we wanted. There is a nice size bar area, booths along the perimeter of the restaurant, and tables in the middle. There's a very nice outdoor eating area outside. The tables are a little small inside, but we managed. Our server worked our table and the bar. She was really friendly and welcoming. As we ate, the restaurant began to fill up. It seemed like most of the people coming in were regulars, which was great. We would definitely return!

My sister-in-law sent me this photo today and recommended it as a great place for breakfast! Here's her photo. Thanks, Linda!

We had brunch here yesterday! Shortly after reading about it here on the board, we had an e-mail from Wally's brother and his wife who also recommended it.

We had no more been seated when our neighbors walked in. We started talking about how we live in the Market Common district, yet here were are up on 48th Ave. having breakfast/brunch? They said they are “breakfast people” and heard about Blueberry Grill after it first opened and have been back several times since.

Wally had the Waffle Blast and I ordered the Live & Give Skillet. Both were excellent, priced around $8. - $9.

We have some pretty incredible breakfast places here in Annapolis (including one that makes delicious home-made pop-tarts), but Blueberry's seems to knock it out of the park !

LIVE & GIVE: Sautéed kielbasa, bacon, with mushrooms, caramelized onions, green peppers, and banana peppers. Topped with cheddar jack cheese and cilantro.

That would be my choice also ! :nanner:

Patrish - we may be visiting Charleston in Jan/Feb to check out some neighborhoods and will definitely make a side-trip up to MB ! We'll get together if we make this trip happen !

Would love to see you! Well be gone Feb. 7 - 16 so I'm hoping we won't miss you.

P.S. You need to check out neighbors in MB too!

Blueberry’s Grill was a real treat for us. I had read a few reviews on the board and knew it was a place we wanted to try. All I can say is if you like breakfast you have to go here! We enjoyed it so much we went three times throughout the week. It did not disappoint any time.
I knew before we arrived at the beach they were building another location at Barefoot Landing. It is huge so apparently they are doing well. It is slated to be opening this week. We also saw a sign in Little River that they are adding a location there, however we didn’t see any construction.
Blueberry’s Gill reminded us of The Broken Egg (one of my favorites) in Destin. The atmosphere, the menu, the food and even the coffee cups are similar. So I am wondering if maybe they are connected somehow? Just a thought.

We arrived at Blueberry’s Gill at 8:30 and had a 15 minute wait. It was crowded, but the service was great and it didn’t take long for our meal. I was impressed with the service.
Sorry I can’t remember the exact name for my nieces French toast, but as you can see it was delicious.

I got the cinnamon roll French toast. It was divine!!! I ended up getting it every time we went. Now I am not a huge sweet eater for breakfast…honestly. I know you couldn’t tell from all my breakfast pics, but this right here was just too good to pass up.

My niece’s boyfriend got this combo and ate every bite.

Blueberry’s Grill is the best breakfast on the Grand Strand in my opinion and I have had a lot of them.

Thanks for this review and of course the photos! So glad you enjoyed it, and I had to smile wen you said you went there 3 times!

It has become a local favorite! Word spreads fast when you have a neighborhood "NextDoor.com"

Thanks again!
