I would like to get together at the 2 nd avenue pier on Tuesday August 15th, at 7 pm. Anybody interested let me know. There is a huge parking lot, which was free when I was last there, and an open air deck on the top level where we would meet. It is not confined like a restaurant, would give everyone a chance to move around and talk. If this doesn't work, we can change the date that week, I'm free.

If anyone else has a better suggestion let me know.

Patrish, unfortunately we will not be coming down to M Beach. 2 days ago my dad who is 86 fell and smacked his head on concrete. Has bleeding all thru the brain. So over the next few days or weeks, we don't know what we will be dealing with. Take care.

Thanks everyone, my dad passed away August 11th at 9 20 pm. Was taken off life support that morning, so the last 2 days making funeral arrangements. He was 86 and never wanted on life support. A very hard decision, but I know he is in peace. Life throws us curves , hills and valleys, calm waters and rough.

I rented thru VRBO from a personal owner, and she refunded the majority of my payment , which was super nice of her.

Take care everyone, maybe next year.

Thank you everyone. The last 2 weeks or more have felt like a year. The toughest time of my life. I'm here for my mom, and I do hope to make it next year to the beach.

Cathy, I was saddened to hear of your loss of your father. Always heartbreaking to say goodbye.
