There were humpback whales spotted off of Pawleys Island on Monday. There are pictures on the Pawleys Island police department twitter page. Not sure how to get them onto here. Here's a link to news station.

Wow! I never thought about whales near the Atlantic coast... at least not in South Carolina! What a sight that would be to see.

Last time I was there, an Orca breeched the water directly in front of us standing on the beach. It was incredible. I'd love to see whales, but better yet, I want to see as I've said before, want to see Mary Lee the great white shark that is tracked. Mary Lee likes the area. She's sitting halfway between Charlotte and Savannah right now.
