Yeah, I get those too but for some reason, when I went to the board, the posts were all old and wouldn't update. I'm so relieved it all works now.

I got the same message when I logged on today. Must be a glitch on their end.

Is everyone's tapatalk still working?

I was looking at upgrading the forum and tapatalk today. When looking at upgrading Tapatalk, I saw a lot of complaints about a recent update. So I really would like to stay away from upgrading tapatalk, if at all possible until they get everything straightened out.

So please let me know if tapatalk is currently working for you. That way I will know how to proceed.

Thank You!

There used to be an error message that the API (I think it was) was not up to date. That message has gone. The app is working but there are 2 things that are not. That might be app related or the app just not reading the server properly. One is to read a list of subscribed topics and the other is participated topics. Bot of these should be showing a list of threads that I have both participated in and subscribed to. Not a biggie but it is a feature that on this forum, Tapatalk does not work on but on the other forums that I am a member of, these 2 do work.

This in my opinion are not worth your time to investigate to fix and does not require an upgrade. Many upgrades have bugs and get fixed in the quick future. This might be the case. I also see that the app in my iPhone looks completely different that it did before the last update. They must be experiencing some growing pains and I would personally hold off on an upgrade as it is working and as you have said, there are complaints about the upgrade. Let them fix the bugs first.

This is my Image worth

This may be a very stupid question, but can I add pics through Tapatalk? If so I apparently can't figure it out. I am trying to finish up my trip report and all my pics are on my phone and I am trying to come up with the best way to add them to my report. HELP!

Posting pictures using Tap-A-Talk is very easy from your smartphone and can actually be the best way. The hardest part of posting pictures is to find a website to host the pictures and then having to play around with and correctly post the links. Tap-A-Talk will host the pictures and post the links to the pictures for you. No code knowledge is needed. Just follow the steps below. The screenshots I've used are from my iPhone. Your phone may be different but should be similar.

1) At the bottom of the screen you'll see a + sign next to the Reply box. Click the +

Image

2) Look for your cursor and skip a line if you want to have a space.
3) Click the icon for Pictures on your phone.

Image

4) Open your Camera Roll or folder where your pictures are.

Image

5) You will be asked to choose a size for your pictures that you are going to post.

Image

6) The image tags and codes will be inserted where your cursor was.

Image

7) If you are going to post multiple pictures, hit Return and leave a space between your pictures.

Image

8) Keep repeating steps 3-7 until all your pictures are done. Icon in lower left will show you how many pictures you're going to post.

Image

9) When you're ready to post, click on the Reply button in the top right corner.

Good Luck and Happy Posting!

.
