How's Capt'n Jules compared to Crab Catchers? We were thinking about skipping out on CC this year.

We haven't done Crab Catchers in a couple years...the food really went downhill in our opinion. Everything was swimming in grease there. The atmosphere at Capt'n is a bit more "family" I believe. The deck is smaller at Cap'n as well. The service at Cap'n was way above Crab Catchers and the food was really good.

I learn something new every time I read one of your posts! I checked out the Vereen Botanical Gardens and sent Misti a link. I'm sure that will make our list of things to do this summer!

As always, enjoying your trip report. Hope you have a wonderful time Emmy.

Scott

Love the pictures Emmy. I haven't figured out how to do this yet. Paul seemed quite adept at managing the golf cart. He would love The Villages in Florida! Lol. We visited Vereen Gardens a few years back. We couldn't believe the shells piled up by the water. A nice spot on a nice day. Thanks for posting.

Then there might be a good chance we look into Capt'n Jules come August.

Vareen Gardens is beautiful! I've always wanted to go but we usually forget about it while we're in MB and remember too late. Great photos!

Thanks so much for the comments and for following along...Like I had said previously we did a lot of work this trip so I'm sorry I don't have a lot of "touristy" things to share

I do have some wonderful videos though. The both of them combined will take a minute to watch. I took the first one walking out from the beach in Cherry Grove. This little fellow was singing away and I think secretly wanted me to film him. I guarantee this will put a huge smile on your face! Make sure your volume is turned on for both of these.

This second video is nature at its finest. It is why each and every one of us returns again and again. As action packed, yummy, and plain old fun that Myrtle Beach is, it's truly her majestic waters that keep us returning...Enjoy!

First thanks for your report I always enjoy trip reports with pics. Now about those pics...a little light went off when I noticed you added your pics through Tapatalk. I will certainly be figuring this out before our July trip.
