I hope any of our members who are in the path of tomorrow's predicted snowstorm stay safe, dry, and warm! They just issued a winter storm warning for our county for a possible 6-10 inches...not liking this...but we have heard places more east will will have even more snow. So take care...everyone!

The Weather Channel is going absolutely bananas over this storm. Sounds like it will be a bad one. I have a sister who lives just outside Washington DC and they are preparing for the worst.

Snow just started here. We are near the Ohio River about 50 miles northeast of Marietta, Ohio. For our region the weather is predicting heaviest snow on a line from Wheeling, WV to Woodsfield, OH...Woodsfield is our county seat...we live about 15 minutes south...9-12 inches...still to be worse conditions to the east in WV, VA, and the east coast...I am home for the duration...Terry is at the fire department making sure all the equipment is chained down and ready to go if needed...have heard that there are icy conditions in the Carolinas...stay safe my friends!

We are in Mason Ohio, about 20 miles northeast of Cincinnati, we have not had a flake all day or night. Missed us completely. Kids are bummed, they got out of school early and were hoping for a big snow. Stay safe everyone!!

We live in upstate SC, just south of Charlotte, NC. They were calling for .25-.5 of an inch of freezing rain last night until today. Luckily, that did not happen, and we received mostly sleet. It would be nice to see a decent snow here before winter is over though.

Here in Southeast Pennsylvania we received about 24 inches which was rather low vs. the areas just west of us. They received just over 30 inches around Lancaster and Harrisburg. The funny thing about this storm for us was most of the snow fell during the night time hours late Friday night and early Saturday evening. We had 8-10 hours of nothing Saturday morning and afternoon except a passing flurry or two that accumulated to nothing. We did see blizzard conditions unfold in the daylight hours around 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Saturday which was really something to see. During this time you couldn't see the neighbors house 100 yards away. A truly amazing sight to see. For those of us that just love to watch the snow fall during the day were rather disappointed at the timing. But, the bottom line is, this was a great storm for many up here and one for the record books for those living in the south central part of Pennsylvania.

We got 32 inches in Columbia , MD. While shoveling out for two days, I just kept saying," I'm moving to Myrtle Beach, I'm moving to Myrtle Beach!!"

In upstate New York (1Hr north of Albany) we got nothing but some wind. Last year at this time I had plowed a dozen times already, so far only once to make sure the tractor still ran!

Wow, mcmoore that is a heck of a lot of snow...makes our 14-15 inches seem paltry! Ohio's weather is so unpredictable...next week temps are predicted to be in the high 50's...
SteinerK2...I guess you can enjoy less shoveling...for now...and until you get to move...LOL
