We usually stop at abbot farms in Spartanburg going down and coming back home but since we are taking I74 we miss it all together. Does anyone have any suggestions on where a good farmers market on I74 or even closer into Myrtle beach!! Thanks!!
Carol

I'm not sure how you get to MB from 74, but if you use the 74-410-701-9 route, there are a couple places to get fresh fruit and veggies on 9! The best one of course, is on the west bound side, but it's pretty easy to do a U-turn to get to it! Holden's Farm Market, which is 10 miles north of the border on 17, used to be great, but not a big fan anymore.

Never stopped there.
Not sure what they have. Just know it's pretty popular and lot usually full.
Just north of Rockingham on I74/RT220.
Between Elerbee and Rockingham.
Heading south it will be over on the left before you get into town.
The big draw is the main building looks like a large strawberry.

I've had to do some studying on our new route. A friend of ours went this way back in july and drove it in 6hours and 45 mins. but he drives like a maniac lol... This is how it looks .. from eastern Ky we go to abingdon va then to whytheville, va on 77 to splits into 74 around round peak and on 74 there then at high point get on 73 before ashboro then get on 38 past rockingham and take just outside of Marion which takes us into 501 familiar road now LOL... sounds confusing but everyone in our area that's taken it says its great... lets hope!!

I'm upset about missing abbotts .. LOL.. but excited to not be in ballgame traffic in Columbia.. although we will be cheering the UK Wildcats (not like in basketball) but really don't want in that traffic... we seem to catch game traffic every year.
