Hi all... Wondering if anyone could advise me on a route from the Pittsburgh area that avoids both 19 and 95. My husband does not want to take 19 after our unscheduled trip last week. We were thinking of staying on 79 and then picking up 77 to avoid 19. Any thoughts???

Taking 79 into Charleston will add nearly two hours to your trip. I don't advise it. I'm not sure why you'd be on 95 for any reason ever. I'm sorry but you'd be wasting your time going any other route.

Thank you Phroggy....I told him that and he quickly changed his mind. I don't want to be in the car for 15 hrs. :BandHead: I told him to just suck it up and get over it.....

Most people run 79-19.
I've heard a few people suggest running across I 70 to I 81. Couple of ways from there to I 95.
They always claim how much faster/shorter it is.
If that was true you'd think more people would go that way.
