Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good spot to go crabbing in Cherry Grove other than the pier.

I believe you can crab at the Cherry Grove Park and Boat Ramp.

You can always call to NMB Parks and Rec for exact info (843) 280-5570

remember 3 or more traps u need a SC license

When fishing for crustaceans or shellfish, a Saltwater Recreational Fishing License is required - unless you are using 3 or fewer drop nets, 3 or fewer fold up traps, or 3 or fewer handlines with no hooks and a single bait per line (chicken necking); or shrimp baiting (which requires a shrimp baiting license).

Great. Thanks for the heads up. We will probably only have 2-3 traps as we will be catching and releasing. I just like to go to sit and relax and hope we catch something!!!!
