Can anyone shed any light on the area of Palmetto Point Blvd. we have friends interested in a new development on PPB called Palm Cove. It is not too far in from the Bypass. Is it a decent neighbor hood? The homes we've seen on PPB all look very nice. Any info or opinion will be greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to the homes. Palmetto Point is a large area of single family and multi-family homes. Palmetto Point is about 2 miles from The Market Common.

Our friends and I were there the other day and they are interested. We just don't know if it's a safe, decent neighborhood or not. Any opinions on this?

You can use this map to spot crime(s) in the various areas.
http://spotcrime.com/sc/myrtle+beach

This area is not within the city limits of Myrtle Beach, so they may or may not have their own neighborhood crime watch meetings. It's a good question for the Realtor, along with learning the Homeowners Association rules, if any.

Wish I could be of more help. It is in what I would consider a good location as it has easy access to shopping, restaurants, and hospital. If possible, talk to anyone you see in their yards as you drive by. That happens to me quite often since new houses are currently being built on our street, and I don't mind a bit!

Thanks for the map. It seems to be safe and I sent it along to them.
