No, this isn't a "want to meet" ad. :clown:

I had an e-mail today from a woman asking to be added to the newsletter list. In her request she asked this:

" I AM LOOKING FOR A LADIES SHOP THAT WAS THERE. I CANNOT REMEMBER THE LOCATION. I WOULD SEE IT ON THE MYRTLE BEACH TOURIST CHANNEL. THERE WERE 3 BEAUTIFUL BLONDES THAT OWNED IT. I CANNOT EVEN REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT. THEY HAD THE MOST GEORGEOUS POCKET BOOKS, SHOES, & CLOTHES. SINCE YOU ARE A LOCAL, I THOUGHT I WOULD ASK YOU TO SEE IF IT MIGHT RING A BELL."

I told her I remembered a shop named Foxy (or maybe it was Foxxy) but I can't remember any blondes. I said I would post it here just in case anyone remembers this.

If the author saw it within the last 5 years or so, I recall a commercial like that running on Myrtle Beach's "TV33" information channel. I can't recall the name of the shop, but it seems to me it was somewhere on North Kings Highway (unless I'm confusing it with someplace else). I haven't watched TV33 for a couple years now, but they always have a directory of their current clients and a link to each one's commercial on their webpage. I just checked their site, but nothing there that rings a bell or has a commercial like that...

Thanks, Mike. You jogged my memory. I remember there were two shops...Talbots and June (Jane? (Jean?) ) Crosby. It was pricy, but they had a nice variety and good sales

Also, Wally informed me the store I was thinking of was Foxy Lady. (How did he remember this?)

I think you mis-spelled "jiggle". :joker:

2 Blondes on the Beach was a store on Main St NMB, it closed a couple of years ago.

Thanks, Gary! She has this link, so I'm sure she will see it posted. Hopefully some of the comments will help!
