Longbeard's is worth a try if you have never been there, very interesting place and menu for the beach. You won't be sorry.

I'm really considering Crab Catchers (Thanks to Deanna's review) or maybe Longbeards.

Well, I have eaten at both and if I had to choose between them, Longbeards wins.

What about Patio's Tiki Bar in Little River? I have never eaten there but it looks like a lot of fun, good prices, and a pretty neat view! Anyone eaten there? This is NOT the Patio's grill in Myrtle. Totally different place.

So I'm trying to get our restaurants down for when we go this year. Boardwalk Billys, The Shack, Quigleys, Crab Catchers, and it looks like we might add Drunken Jack's again, or go new and try the Dead Dog/hanna banana/nacho hippo

Well I have to say you all are making a week of eating out a very hard decision! First night(Saturday) we always get Bojangles because we bring it back to the room after we have made our dreaded trip to the grocery store. BUT the rest of the week we always try to go somewhere we haven't before... We were thinking Drunken Jacks and Dead Dog but ... decisions, decisions...

Have to throw Hoskin's into the "locals" list. Main Street in Ocean Drive. Small home cookin' place. Not unusual to see line down the sidewalk. Main reason we haven't ate there for several years. They don't allow one single person to wait inside the building no matter how hot or rainy it is outside.

Wow. That's almost an hour drive between Crab Catchers and Quigley's. You sure do travel far for your meals!

Bud, Hana Banana is no longer in business, but K-Rae's is located in that spot and is good.

I imagine your planning itineraries around these eating excursions, because your choices are spread out over 45 miles.

No one needs to travel that far to eat :) Not when we have over 1800 places to choose from, and depending upon where one is staying, there are good choices nearby.

lol yeah they are quite far. Quigley's was the furthest south we went last year while CC was furthers north, but we were there for 2 weeks. We'll have to see when the time comes, as there is always a back up plan.
