Hi all,

My husband and I will be staying at a condo in the Ocean Garden Villas in the Crescent Beach section. I usually stay in the Ocean Drive area and was always able to walk to Main St and alot of other places.

Can anyone tell me what the Crescent Beach section is like? Anything around there that we could walk to? After being in the car for 2 days, we kind of don't want to be fighting off traffic around the area.

I misjudged the distance from Main St/Ocean Drive areas.

Thank you.

Lynn

Nothing like Main Street but there is a small cluster of places at 17th and Ocean Blvd. Couple beach shops and at least one hot dog/ice cream stand a block off the beach. Molly Darcy's is Irish Pub family friendly place oceanfront at 17th. Other than that you'll be in the car.

18 blocks.......Give or take a couple hundred yards..... 2 miles......depending on age could be walked......
Quick five minute drive up Ocean Blvd. Can still enjoy Main Street without the congestion of RT 17.
If not familiar with the area. As long as you're in the car. Continue up Ocean Blvd another two miles to Sea Mountain Highway. A few more places to eat, shop, mini golf and still avoid the drive on RT 17.
