Landry's is a favorite happy hour place for us! I can't remember ever being disappointed dining or drinking there! This time was no different! I had a couple Nut Brown Ales, that were so cold, and delicious! We ordered calamari, fried pickles, and shrimp brochettes! Way too much food for appetizers, but they were so good! We couldn't stop eating the darn pickles, they were addicting :dontknow: ! BTW Phyllis had a girly drink, but I can't remember what it was. She does not drink at home other than an occasional glass of wine! When on vacation, she turns into a lush  :bellydancer[1]:

Now, now....have you considered the possibility that when on vacation she is forced to be in close proximity with you 24-7? :clown:

Well Patrish, I really didn't want to admit it  ! What did amaze me though, was for someone who does not drink, she handled some of these high alcohol drinks extremely well! Not sure of the drink, but in one of the places, the bartender was pouring four bottles of liquor at the same time into her glass! I think my response at the time was "Holy Crap" :ohnoes: !!
