I appreciate the consideration that Jeff (parrotheadjwb) has for those of us who are relatively new to the board. While I am excited to meet all of you, I have to admit that the thought of having dinner with strangers is a little intimidating. I, for one, would feel much more comfortable in a casual setting like Auntie Anne's or Coldstone.

Jeff,

Thanks so much for starting this thread. Last year I so much wanted to attend the meet-up but it was in south Myrtle which is a 40 minute drive from north Myrtle. My brother had just flown in and I couldn't give several hours to a meet up. I believe a centrally located spot like BATB would be great, especially for those of us who travel with large groups. Everyone could come and go as needed. I also think it is only polite to offer a spot where money is not a huge factor. Most vacationers (or locals) with several children can afford ice cream but that might not be the case with steak and potato. Also, maybe always plan the centralized meet up early in the week and then additional meet ups can be planned for later in the week for those interested.

What a great problem to have! I do believe as the MB2 family continues to grow this will only become more hectic. A centralized location I believe will make things less crazy for everyone.
