I know this is probably a bad time to try for a meetup... We are arriving 9/5 late afternoon and leaving 9/12 early, early morning. If anyone else is in town or available for a quick, quick shout out or meetup somewhere, would definitely be interested in hearing about it.

Since no one posted anything specific, let me throw this out.

Wally and I will be at The Market Common this Friday and Saturday. I want to see the cars on display on Sat., and we both plan to enjoy the Tams (Fri.) and Maurice & The Zodiacs (Sat.) I'm sure we'll also be pigging out on some barbecue over the weekend.

My call is 843-215-7338, and if I remember(!) we'll both be wearing our MBMB2 buttons. Would love to see any of you who have nothing better to do.

Here's the schedule:

Brenda, additionally, we could do a meet on the 9th or 10th late afternoon or evening. Just set a time/place.

Thanks to Alan from Charleston, WVA (username: pop2748) and Bruce from Brick, NJ (username Bruce) for taking the time to locate me tonight at the Tam's concert.

It was so much fun seeing them!

I'll be back tomorrow for the car show, and Wally and I will be there for the "Maurice and the Zodiac" concert at 7:30. Hope to see anyone else who is in town if you make it to The Market Common tomorrow.

We were there Friday night but I didnt read this until Sunday!
Imagine going to MB meet up to meet a "homie" from Brick?
Glad you guys had fun, we did not get down to Market Commons until 8 and did not walk around at all.
There was a band playing on stage as we arrived but I was on a mission to feed kids and return home to load up for drive home.
Hope you enjoyed yourselves, the weather was delicious.
Thanks again Wally and Patrish for your help- extemely appreciated!!!!!

Had to be the shortest meet-up ever.
Six in our group and looking for Patrish and Wally wasn't an easy task. I don't know how long Bruce was there but I wasn't there much longer than it took for Wally to snap picture.

LOL. Alan! At least you made the effort to find us. And you KNEW I wouldn't let you go until I had a picture! Thanks for hunting us down!

Patrish, We were there Fiday night and back again on Saturday for the car show.
Based on the crowds we saw its amazing that anyone found you. as it was i "lost" my wife a few times (especially at the car show)

It looked like a great turnout for the event but I don't have anything to judge it against.

Not hard to find them. Saw hundreds of people sitting in chairs. Looked for one of them to stand up taking a picture.

Alan, I laughed when I read how quick the meet up was , as quick as a camera flash. It stormed when we got together in July for our meet up so I really didn't get to talk to many of those who showed up.

Alan, my visit was even shorter, as you were still talking to Patrish and Wally when I left. I think if you look closely at the picture you will see me walking out of frame as my visit had already ended. hahaha
PS - Patrish, by any chance did you get a good picture of the Tams that you can post. I wasn't fortunate to have a seat close to the stage. Heck I was the only one there without a chair. I tried to get a picture, but trying to take a picture while sitting on the grass and being trampled by the throng doesn't work out too well.

Bruce, I haven't finished my newest photo album yet, but when I do I'll post it under the Local Photos topic. I didn't get any good pics of the Tams this year because I forgot to bring my flash - mostly because I didn't realize it would be dark by the time they started. Here are the only two that didn't look totally dismal.

Here are some much better pics of the Tams from last Aug. 08:

Sorry I missed seeing so many of you. I guess next time we'll need to set up a specific date/time.

We didn't make it to Market Commons at all on Saturday 9/5. We did arrive early enough <3> but we were exhausted and we did do the WalMart thing. It was crowded but not "outta control" so at least we got that over & done with early on. Will post more in Trip Report section soon....... Vacation just always goes waaay too fast for me!!
