My SIL and I ate at the Tilted Kilt right after it opened, and we actually enjoyed our meals! We have one locally(2 hours away) and we've eaten there once and it was also good! So opinions vary! As for the scantily clad waitresses, they really aren't that risqué and no one mentions that the men wear kilts also(I do hope they aren't going commando :???: )! I hate seeing any business close, never sure if the replacement will be better or not!! I'll not miss this restaurant, just don't feel like bashing it on it's way out! We did go there on this last trip, but only for a quick drink and an appetizer!
As for not eating out as much, we've never cooked a meal in while on vacation! We do sometimes have fruit, pop tarts, toast, etc. in the room for breakfast, but that's it! But with the crazy prices, I can understand why vacationers are trying to cut back!!

There's still a lot more to what happened with this restaurant.

B&C does not want to be in the restaurant business, they tried expanding into housing, attractions, timeshares and more and sold off those assets, they are sticking to what they do best landlords and of course golf courses, but even with the courses they merged with MBN and it seems they are letting them run with this part of the business.

So where does that bring us, CEO of TK says reopening in the area, B&C now owns the franchise rights to TK in the area, which means anyone wanting to open a TK has to deal with not only the Franchisor but B&C.

B&C will have no problem renting the TK space out, heck they always keep in contact with companies who would like to move in to Broadway, that is why when a restaurant leaves, it is not long before another opens.

And these are long term leases, so like the TK that still had 17 years left on the lease, something had to be worked out, now the problem is for TK Corp to find or B&C to find someone who wants to buy and pay royalties to both for a number of years.

Whoa here's a thought, B&C can work out something with someone to open a TK at the old Bullwinkle's/Mykono's site on 29th, now that makes for a good deal for B&C, it's a great
building and location, yet the rent is high but it can be leveraged under this scenario so all
3 parties can win.
