The Cheddars in Chattanooga opened this week. Ryan went by there last night and there was over a three hour wait. Ok, it's good, but I don't know if it is that good  So we stopped on our way through Knoxville this afternoon and were seated upon arrival. The food was great as usual, but the service was a little off for Cheddars. They are known for their fast service and at one point our waiter did not check in for over 20 minutes. Of course this will not keep us from going back. There were four of us and we had an appetizer, four entree's and one dessert. $44.78. Can't beat that!

Myrtle Beach needs a Cheddars....

I know this thread is old, but I have to comment. We have a cheddar a here in boardman. It is always packed. You can't beat the prices for the great food. My two daughters and I love to sneak off on Sunday late afternoons after the routine family Sunday dinners and go for coffee and dessert. Then they go back to their colleges campuses for the week. The chocolate cake with ice cream!!!! A must! They almost put half a cake on your dish! :ac17[1]: So try it out.

Love the pic Rosie....I have had the chocolate dessert and it is delish. Sounds like a great relaxing girl time you have on Sunday afternoon.

Doug and I ended trying the Cheddars in Chattanooga a couple of weekends ago. I ended up just getting grilled chicken with veggies and Doug got a burger. It was delish...even the veggies  Service was excellent. I say it again MB needs a Cheddars.

I don't know....good question. They are still in business, so I guess that's a good sign.

We still have not eaten here yet. Every time we try going we have an hour wait.

Hi Jeff, does that mean you work at the Cheddars in Alcoa? I remember introducing myself to you years ago when you worked at the Longhorn in Sevierville. The Cheddars in Alcoa has always been our favorite. Of course, we have one in Pigeon Forge, 10 minutes from our house. It has been open a year and I have only been there twice. For some reason the restaurants always taste better in someone else's town rather than ours. Have a great summer.

Jeff, you should convince them to open a restaurant here!

I'm really surprised there is not one there already.
