Tommy's closed last night for good and Old Worlds' last night is Saturday

There are a few more announcements coming unfortunately.

Re Tommy Bahama. I am not surprised to hear this, and I since the clothing store is staying open I hope it won't make it more difficult to rent. The last time we were there we enjoyed a drink and an appetizer. Both were delicious, and I loved that little umbrella in my drink! But the price was $50. 'Nuff said.

Old World doesn't surprise me either, I guess they thought the makeover would help but it obviously did not.

I am very disappointed, however, to hear Atlanta Bread closed. I thought the opening of Target and Marshalls would help them stay afloat. But since both locations are gone, maybe we will get a Panera Bread! Ya' think?

Also, do you know what is going up between Atlanta Bread and Bob Evans?

I was not surprised either about Tommy's as I made a comment about them a year or so ago on this Board, Old World I was sorry to hear about, George called me a few weeks ago with the news, (he actually decided the closing date while we were on the phone) they did have a lot of regulars who always enjoyed it and then other folks were not happy, I never had a disappointing meal there.

I was aware that Atlanta Bread was closing a couple of months ago and at that time shook my head, for they always had business, it just was not enough to keep Wilson going.

I slowed down while passing there on the way to bowling last night but still no sign is up yet stating what is coming, if I were not so busy, I was in the office this morning at 6:45 and here I still am, but getting ready to turn the light off in a few minutes, I would stop and ask.
