What restaurants/eating establishments can you sit at your table and eat and actually SEE the ocean? We've been to Sea Captain's House and River City Cafe in Surfside. Any others?

In no particular order...I'll add more as I think of them, and I'm sure others have favorites

4 restaurants located on the Boardwalk:
Pier 14
Landshark
Ocean Front Grill
Dirty Don's

The new Mexican restaurant, Banditos, is also located on the Boardwalk extension, north end. Wally and I walked around it but I can't remember if you can see the ocean from it.

Cafe Amalifi (inside the Hilton.) We ate there, but it has been at least 6-7 years. All I remember is the pretty view!

KIRK! :BandHead:

It's probably the best place for happy hour with a view. I wonder if anyone has figured out how may brain cells I've killed by wine! :dontknow:

Not that I know much about it, but what about Molly Darcy's. We stayed at Crescent Shores right beside it one year and ordered a burger for lunch to eat on the beach. It wasn't a great burger, but the place was always packed.

We really liked Molly Darcy's when we stayed in North Myrtle Beach. It is a little odd to eat Irish food on a deck outside by the Ocean. But the open-faced reuben is really, really good. The owners were super nice to us, and even though we were never there at night, the place looked like it was hopping when it got late. Kid friendly during the day (arcade games and pool tables inside).

There are several restaurants that have waterfront views, but not necessarily the Ocean. Several on the intercoastal waterway, and some really good ones in Little River (like Crab Catchers).

I really want to check out Molly Darcy's this year! I've been meaning too for a few years now. I think my future husband would really like it! Must put that on the list for this year.

When is Happy Hour at the 2nd Ave Pier restaurant? I couldn't find anything about it on their website.

Last year according to the calendar on the site, it was from 4-7. The calendar hasn't been updated for 2013 yet.
