We are very excited to be coming back to Myrtle Beach Feb 17-20, although it is a short trip. Staying at Dunes Village Resorts, which is our regular spring break spot however we are going to Sanibel FL for spring break this year. I started to miss the idea of not going to Myrtle Beach and knew if I could find a block of 3 nights we could make it do able(our alternative was Great Wolf Lodge but Dunes Village is so much cheaper). My son has off for Presiden'ts day and so here we come! I'm thinking we may even try to do the aquarium and the Pirates Voyage show, some things we've never done before. My son loves The Track and I see that it will be open so we may also try to squeeze that in. I'm looking for suggestions for a good casual place for seafood (probably not in Murrell's Inlet though as we will already head down there one afternoon to Prosser's BBQ which is always a must do). Thanks for any tips for coming this time of year too-never been in February.

Enjoy your trip. Prosser's sounds really good right now. I really like their seafood selection. I really don't know any good seafood places not on the south end. We stay in Surfside so most of the time we stay on that end to eat.

Wishing you a wonderful (if somewhat cold) Myrtle Beach vacation!

Here are some nearby restaurants I would recommend. The only one where we have not eaten is Ciao, but I have heard good things about it from our friends.

Johnny D’s Waffles and Bakery

They also have a morning Early Bird, 6:30 - 8:30 AM

Carolina Roadhouse

Flamingo Grill

They also have a good Happy Hour 4-7 PM
