Our friend and local columnist/food critic Becky Billingsley has released her list of local restaurants serving Thanksgiving meals:

Thanks, Mike. I wondered why they didn't have Salt Creek Cafe on the list. I think Salt Creek is the only - or one of the few - restaurants in our area who always have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner on their regular menu. So...I went searching for it and came upon another list where they are included, along with some others. Lots of choices for eating out this year!

Here are two more that are not on the lists:

Cracker Barrel is open starting at 6 am Thanksgiving day and is serving a special Thanksgiving menu starting at 11 am. Thanksgiving dinner is $9.99 for adults and $4.99 for children. On the menu is turkey breast with dressing and gravy served with a sampling of baked ham, sweet potato casserole, cranberry relish, biscuits, your choice of a vegetable, and Pumpkin Pecan Streusel Pie. Beverage included. More details on the Cracker Barrel website: http://www.crackerbarrel.com/restaurant ... anksgiving

Golden Corral is open at most locations on Thanksgiving day, serving a Thanksgiving buffet for $12.99. More details on the Golden Corral website: http://www.goldencorral.com/
