My mother is currently using Medical Guardian Premium to monitor for falls and emergency alerting. After 6 months, the products inconsistency is troubling.
She will be reading a book (or other latent activity) and the alarm goes off. Yesterday she actually fell off a chair and the alert DIDN'T go off. Fortunately she wasn't hurt... 90 yrs old with no spleen, and still tough as nails. An ambulance then shows up at her house 3+ hrs later responding to the "emergency".

We are considering switching systems, but research is tough due to reviews based on advertising or click-through revenue. Any feedback is appreciated !

Kirk, I'm sorry I can’t help provide and answer, but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your mother. It’s tough getting old, but it’s even tougher when you are the caretaker.

Hope someone here on the board can help you!

Thanks Patrish, this means a lot. Fortunately we have been blessed in that she is still able to live alone and her health was rock-solid until she had to have her spleen removed 5 months ago (actually her health is still very good... who needs a spleen anyway ?). Our move to SC actually put us 4 additional hours away from her, but my brother is 2 miles away.
