I'm staying in Longs and am wondering if there is a way to see the cherry grove pier fireworks across the waterway? Looking to avoid fighting the traffic near the beach. Plus I have nowhere to go.

From across the Little River Swing Bridge honestly I'm not sure. We have always parked down the beach from the Cherry Grove Pier approx. 1-2 miles in the public parking lots but we made a day of it. We got there early too. I'm really trying to think but the problem is there are no high points across the bridge. I honestly can't think of anyplace that would be a good vantage point from Longs.

Thanks. With a 2 year old that's a long day. We're going to try to see if we can drive around anyways. There's always Broadway. I hope you have a good time. I heard high tide is at 8:15. Hope it isn't too crowded.

My wife's grandparents live in Longs. Love it here. Quiet and calm but close enough to everything. When we can afford that second home this is where we want to look. So much land here I bet you can still find something to build new.
