Last I knew it was still at BAB, but it's an interesting story (if the other facts are straight.)

I remember seeing a group of dumb guys do that challenge while I was in the store a few years back. One guy ran out the door and straight to that misting station. Another guy bought a drink from the store.

People are crazy to do the challenge. Especially those that think it will be so easy.

Never did a challenge but one trip to Barefoot we stopped in the old Belches and Burps.......Son and two grandsons. They had samples on the counter and corn chips. The kids tried some. Sales person took the bottle and made small black marks on the corn chips. Little more than a magic marker spot.....Not to be out done by couple kids I joined in.
Didn't run out door or anything but I was very quiet for maybe 15 minutes. Tongue hurt so bad I couldn't talk.

Jason(son) worked at Longhorn. He ordered his own pepper oils on-line. $40-$50 per once. Couple drops per gallon of hot wing sauce would make forehead sweat. He kept the sauce at work. They sold the normal franchise spec mild and hot wings but his regulars and friends knew he had the HOT stuff. For them he'd make up batches of special wings knowing they wouldn't sue.

For some home stuff. Not dangerous hot but hot enough you can surprise friends coming to visit. Mrs Renfro's Ghost Pepper salsa. Regular salsa a jar might last a sitting or two. Jar of Ghost Pepper salsa will last week to ten days. Half dozen chips you're putting lid back on jar. Locally only place I can find it is Kroger's. Part of the profits goes to Texas Tech for "pepper research".
