I was looking at the beach webcams this morning and my heart stopped when viewing Avista's.
They could call it Roachcam. Seriously, roaches walking onscreen over and over.
Yikes!

No but I just looked now. Yuck!

Had a chuckle about the wording above the webcam:

Quote:
Need your daily Myrtle Beach fix? Visit the Avista Resort webcam. You can rotate the camera to enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean, see what’s happening on the beach, or catch a glimpse of the resort's surroundings.

But don’t be surprised if you find yourself making reservations for your next Myrtle Beach getaway.

I'm running in the other direction Avista!

I looked at it this morning and saw some creatures :ohnoes: crawling around on it. Unless they have cleaned it in the last four or five hours, they will return.

It reminds me of the advertisement that was on television a few years ago. I think it was Orkin that had roaches crawling on the screen that were so convincing that people were breaking their TV trying to kill them. Ha!

Just checked the webcam and didn't see any bugs this time.
Maybe they sprayed today.

Yeah..."palmetto bugs." Right. That's what the hotels will tell you. Heck, they probably say it's the State Bug.
