I am not on Facebook. I am a private person. I was overwhelmed when I did briefly try it. I too am an old fashioned person. Guess we are a rare breed. Nothing wrong with that, right ??

And if you don't play games and you want to stop invitations:
When you receive a notification, you can now click on the X in the top right hand corner and "turn off" notifications for that app as well.

You're welcome.

THANKS!!! Hallelujah. I was just about ready to delete the facebook ap on my iphone because of the constant notifications.

I can't possibly be the only person who craves Nacho Hippo on a daily basis...

Am I?

Since I don't like to receive the invitations from other people to play a game, I do not send them! I simply click on the "x" and move on to the game. Might slow my progress on the game, but I don't mind. I'd rather not offend my non game playing friends.

I just got on Facebook just a few months ago. I got on because a coworker posted his pictures from his Pittsburgh to DC bicycle ride and I wanted to see them.

I don't ever do anything on it. I have 1 very old friend from way back in elementary school that I talked to and it turns out he posts just about at least every 10 minutes. Another coworker who moved to another location posts stupid redneck stuff all day long.

The one thing I noticed while I was looking for someone (my brother actually, I have no idea where he is.) I came across his group that he hung out with and if on facebook, figured I would find him that way. These are all guys I know from childhood playing baseball and such when our parents were around what my current age is now. Now I'm seeing them all at this age and it is amazing that each and every single one of them look exactly like their fathers, LOL. It's like I'm not seeing pictures of the guys I know but seeing pictures of the dads that coached the sports teams and such back then.

Random thought... How in the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

There's an app for that/....wait a minute. I meant a YouTube

Actually, I put the rolled up top and bottom sheets plus one rolled pillow case into the 2nd pillow case. It's easier than trying to fold that dang fitted sheet!

Watching a great interview... Charlie Rose with Bill Murray. Highly recommended.

Charlie asked what brought Bill to South Carolina where he now lives with his sons...."the people are so nice and it's so beautiful".

Tell us something we DON'T know :nanner: :nanner: :nanner:

And another odd tidbit..... Bill was talking with Stevie Nicks one-time and she thanked him for CaddyShack. She was going through tough times at some point and that was the only movie which brought a laugh. Ok, I'm probably not going to feel sorry for Stevie Nicks, but Bill's performances are pretty awesome.

We just started dealing with some Japanese customers who have definite communication-challenges. I always show this Bill Murray clip to people new to Japanese culture... Bill is playing an actor hired to advertise a Japanese whiskey:
