Does anyone have a personal contact with the people at Coastline RV in Murrells inlet? (Some of their ads list themselves as Garden City)

We've had our camper stored there and used them since 2008 and now we're getting the run around with them, won't answer phone, won't return phone calls.

I used to recommend them to people who wanted to rent RVs - but their service is quickly changing my mind.

Doyce (the owner) and Patti (who seems to be an administrative person) is who we have dealt with. Does anyone local know anyone else we can contact? We're at our wits end with these people.

Or.. where to start in the local legal process for the city/county?

Barb, have you called Pirateland to see if they have any information about this business or alternate contact information? I would try that first, just guessing that most RV storage places would be routinely bringing campers in and of the campground. Then, I would call the Horry County Police [843-915-5350] and ask for a supervising officer. See if they have any information on the status of the business or an emergency contact number. Just explain the situation and ask for information or suggestions. If others have had the same problem then they probably have already received similar calls.

We have a place at pirateland so we're close by. DH has gone down in person - many times no one is there. Sometimes he does catch the owner and talk about what needs to happen. Then... what was said was going to be done never happens... so we call... no answer... send e-mails... get an e-mail back telling us to call. See where I'm going? In circles.

We just can't understand why they are so hard to contact - and won't call back. Jim replied to their e-mail and told them to call him... DO NOT e-mail him as he'd be traveling. What do they do? Send him and e-mail and tell him to call. You call - all you get is answering device. It is very frustrating.

I have recommended them to several people over the years who have asked about renting campers and they've posted good experiences with them. We've talked to the owner several times in 4 years (nice guy) but their customer service has gone completely down hill. DH has talked with the owner over the years and we've always had good (but extremely slow) results. Heck.. we've had to call more than once to get him to send us an invoice for us to pay our storage bill! There's a lot of behind the scenes issues that need resolved so I don't want to air all that dirty laundry... I'm just frustrated more than anything and right now - I would NOT recommend doing business with them.

We used to be a big fan - now not at all.

Was hoping this guy was a brother to someone on here - or something. Venting I suppose and will no longer send business their way!
