My friend Gail and I had lunch today at Maggi D. We both ordered the Fruit and Nut Salad, 9.95. Mixed greens, blue cheese
crumbles, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, mandarin oranges and cranberries. (I chose Strawberry Vinaigrette dressing.)

It was delicious and more than either of us could eat. I am often hesitant about ordering salads for the first time because some restaurants
tend to over-fill the salad bowl with lettuce. To me, lettuce is the least important part of a salad. Maggi D's Fruit and Nut salad was perfectly
mixed as you can see from the photo.

Plenty of bread was delivered along with the salads. My kind of bread! Fresh with a very crisp crust.

The restaurant is small but no one feels crowded, and the decor is pleasant. Service was excellent, and the owner visited
each table, just as he has the other times we visited Maggi D's for their Early Bird Special.

That salad looks delicious! This is yet another restaurant I have to add onto the ever growing list of places to try in MB.
