Myrtle Beach Message Board

I had to take trip over to Time Warner in Garden City yesterday to pick up a box for my TV. Next door was a catchy little sign for The Grilled Cheese and Crab Cake Co.. It was lunchtime so I decided to stop in and get a sandwich. I didn't expect much, I mean it is only a grilled cheese sandwich. Boy was I wrong! It was on Texas Toast with plenty of cheese, a LOT of bacon and fresh ripe tomatoes (I am used to people throwing on half green tomato). Price was $5.50. So what could it be .. maybe 30 calories?
Really enjoyed the sandwich. Their big seller is the Crabmelt .... Montery Jack cheese, Texas Toast and a Maryland style crabcake. I don't like crabcakes but saw patron with one and it looked good. Price was $8.95
Not saying it is worth driving down from North Myrtle Beach, but if you are in the area it is well worth a shot.
It is in the Oasis Mall in Garden City Beach, there is a Golden Egg restaurant in there that is easier to spot.

Bruce, you discovered one great restaurant, and everything you said is true....
